Editorial policy
Creatives Stage Review aims to make creative practice clear without presenting opinion as fact or a single method as a universal rule. Our articles should be specific, readable and honest about what they can and cannot establish.
Accuracy and judgement
We check factual statements before publication and distinguish explanation from interpretation or personal judgement. We avoid unsupported claims of authority and do not promise that a particular creative choice will produce a particular audience response. When information is uncertain or an example is illustrative, we make that clear.
Independence and partnerships
Editorial decisions are kept distinct from commercial collaborations. Partner contributions and placements are labelled clearly so readers can tell when material has a commercial relationship. Payment or partnership does not guarantee favourable editorial coverage.
Corrections and illustrations
If you spot a factual error, contact us with the article title and the point in question; we review correction requests and amend material when warranted. Some illustrations may be AI-generated. Where that applies, the illustration is identified so it is not mistaken for documentary evidence.
Make the choices visible.
A performance is built from many decisions, large and small. Looking closely at them can make the creative process easier to understand and use.
